: Was that a good choice for my first harmonica? I had no clue as to which one to get, and I like the blues and rock. I checked out this sight right after I got it, and this is a lot of help. I wish I could find more songs tho. Thanks for help/advice.

That was my first harmonica too (outside of the cheap $3 job they gave me with the first "How-to" book I purchased). The guy at the music store told me it was the most popular model, which is how a lot of people seem to end up with that harp. It's not a bad harmonica (there are plenty of professionals that use this harp), but after trying out various other kinds I haven't gone back to the Blues Harp.

My advice would be to try other harmonicas as you progress and eventually you'll grow a preference to some model. That being said, I've heard a lot of beginners say that Lee Oskars are the easiest to learn on.
