I've been working hard on single noting and have found that I have trouble getting just one note on 7-9. After some experimentation, I have discovered that if I use my lower lip to "wrap around" the hole, I can get good, clear notes. I tip the back of the harp up slightly and direct the airstream up as well, trying to keep the air going straight through. It works for me, but I wonder if I am developing any bad habits with this method. My trouble with the pucker method is that air often seeps into the neighboring holes, and my jaw gets sore from trying to bring my cheeks all the way together. Anyone see a problem here?
