Ive always found that bending is more of a throat thing than mouth or tongue. When I bend notes I find its easyier if you try and expand your throat like your trying to swallow a grapefruit. If you whistle while drawing in air and lower the note, thats what your throat does. It works for me so try it. I also found at first that I could get the bends but the sound was all wrong, really dull. But I found that was cos I wasnt drawing hard enough. Ive found theres not really much info on bending techniques anywhere. Probably cos its such an inexact science. So keep trying everyway you can think of, youll get it in the end.
