re my situation. the right side of my face got paralyzed
just over a year ago. i now have slight return of
some muscle tone in my lips. i started trying to
play the harp as a way to possibly strengthen my lips
and i think it is working. anyway, i can't pucker and
i have to kind of wedge the harp at an angle into the
right side of my mouth to get an air seal at all.
i cover the holes lower than the one i want to play
with my tongue. seems to be working as i can play
the major scale in single notes and "oh susanna"
pretty well. so i'm trying to progress to the bends!
