I do both, on a C harp, usually in G.

The verse of Tequila is pretty obvious in 2nd position:

The bridge requires an overblow, valved bend, or just fake it.

I worked many years with Big Jay McNeely, who is from that era and feratures Honky tonk a lot.
For the solo turnaround of honky tonk (in G):

D E F F# D' F# F C# F E

you need either some overblows or a valved diatonic. I use the latter.
