OK, here we go. Lets look at a key of C harp.
Exhale 1-10 C E G C E G C E G C..
Inhale 1-10 D G B D F A B D F A..
Thats the note pattern on a Richter Tuned aka a Diatonic harp. The notes repeat themselves. The musical alaphabet is only A B C D E F G then it starts over.A B C ect in a higher octave. If you put your tounge over holes 2&3 and still blow 1&4 you get two C notes, octaves, and it sounds organ like.Very Cool. Howard Leeve can play in every key on a key of C harmonica by using bends and overblows. I have a video of him doing it. Hows that for confusing..You have to learn some music to be a musician.
