: Hello all, and thank you for reading this. I would like to know what type of harmonica I have. It has a total of 32 holes! 16 on top, and 16 on bottom. I am trying to learn how to play, but everyone talks about ten holed harmonicas only... What can I do?

: Please help,
: Al

I just bought a harmonica today and mine has 32 holes too. i prefer that over the ten holes because each hole only has one reed (note) per hole whereas the 10 hole harmonica has two reeds per hole (breath in and out). To be technical you have a Tremolo harmonica which is diatonic. hope that helps
