Ok, I picked up a Lee Oskar Major Diatonic in the key of C (only one the shop had) and started playing it this morning. I gotta tell ya, I agree with the BluzHarper Man. I like it.

The holes are a little closer together (thinner walls) than the others (hohner, johnson) I have played, so the single notes were harder to hit at first. There was no breakin necessary, just started playing all notes crystal clear.

Bending notes is very easy and it takes less wind than my Hohner Special 20 for any hole, in or out. The tone is at least as good as the Hohner Pro, which takes more wind.

I will continue experimenting with my inexpensive Blues King harps, but for serious playing, I am a Lee Oskar convert.

BluzHarper says under his breath, I told you so....
