You gave me the right idea. The version I have starts with three 12-bars in the key of C and then masterfully goes up 1/2 step every 12-bar to finish in G. Beautiful jazzy blues all played with a C chromatic

: I wouldn't know without hearing the particular version. If I remember correctly from hearing it live about 20 years ago, he went up in 1/2 steps every 12-bar or so. I hope someone has a better answer for you.

: : Dear readers. I wonder if anybody out there knows the key changes in the Toots Thielemans great blues-jazz tune "C to G jam blues". I know it starts in C and ends in G but cannot figure out the some of the key changes in between. Bluz, Jeremy, Stan..., anybody any ideas?
