Ok, but could someone come up with a passable explaination of what it is and what it sounds like before I go out and buy a CD or Video on the subject? Is it a distortion effect? A pitch changing effect? A modulation effect?

: I don't do it and I'm a big fan of the sound, but you should listen to Howard Levy, he's the guy that came up with it and refined it. go to the Store here and click on Other Instruction- Howard has a video out which I own and recommend to anyone interested in overbolows and overdraw.

: : I'm a guitarist working on becoming a passable blues harp player in a pinch.

: : I've got blow and draw bends down as well as a few other staples. But I keep hearing about "Over-blowing"...?

: : Can someone describe the sound of the effect, how it's done, when it's commonly used, and a recorded example?
