I like to get in a little harmonica practice time on my daily drive to and from work. Over the years I have gotten good at steering with my knees, allowing both hands free for the needed tonal effects, etc., while still keeping my eyes on the road. Very safe on long stretches of straight road.
One day, during an inspired jam, I looked over to notice a car alongside me. It was a state trooper, pointing to his steering wheel, pissed. I quickly dumped my harp, grabbed the wheel at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions, and nodded my head yessir. He sped off. Now I watch for them.
